Labels

The Load Carrying Capacity Modification Label may not reflect the correct added weight of the installed accessories. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims for Passenger Cars." An incorrect label may lead an owner to overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: SET will notify owners, and provide a corrected label for placement over the inaccurate label, free of charge.

Passenger air bag may not deploy properly

Injury risk

The system that turns the front passenger air bags on or off may be miscalibrated, so the passenger air bag and knee air bag might not deploy as intended in some crashes. This raises the risk of injury to the front passenger.

Fix: The dealer will recalibrate the occupant classification system at no cost to you.
