Child seat anchors may not fit properly

Injury risk

Excess paint on the rear seat LATCH anchor bars can keep a child seat from attaching to them, so the seat may not be secured in a crash. This is a child safety problem and the vehicles do not meet federal child seat anchorage standards.

Fix: Until the repair is done, install child seats with the rear seat belts; the dealer will inspect the anchor bars and refinish them as needed at no cost to you.

Recall 22V724000 · Sep 2022

Driver seat frame may have weak weld

The driver's seat frame may have an improper weld in the power tilt mechanism. In a crash, the seat may not hold the driver properly, raising the chance of injury.

Fix: The dealer will inspect the driver's seat and replace the cushion frame if needed, at no cost to you.

Recall 22V359000 · May 2022

Tires may separate tread, causing crashes

Crash risk

Some tires may have been made with too little curing agent, so the tread can separate from the tire while driving. If that happens, the driver can lose control of the vehicle and crash.

Fix: The dealer will check the tire DOT numbers and replace any affected tires free of charge.
